Service was fast. Our waiter Chris was Courtious. Food was hot and fresh. Reminds me of the restaurants when I grew up in the 60's because not too many places bring water the table without being asked. That was common at every restaurant back then. Bathroom was clean. And our waiter Chris was gay. At least he was happy & gay. Single SteakBurger & fries were $3.99. Add a shake and mutiply 2 times and you're at almost $14.00. Add a tip to that and you've killed a twenty dollar bill. How'd that happen?

This is the only steak and Shake I have seen in Volusia County they have really good milkshakes and chicken stripes. There burgers taste like BK burgers and there fries are small but not to greasy or salty there really good. The workers seem to not care about there customers and the service is really fast they also have a drive through and its best to come here on happy hour where everything is half off which is everyday 2-4pm

It is what it is. Steak and Shake. Decent service. Had bit of a bone in my double steak burger. Their motto is lame - if it's in sight it must be right - a reference to the older days when they prepared the steak meat in front of customers. No desserts on main menu.

I love you Steak and Shake and I have never been to the same restaurant twice in the same 24 hours before. OK, so maybe there weren't a lot of choices, but still... I'm not sure why all the food servers are apologizing for the wait time, you people move faster than California food servers and we didn't even notice. The side to side shake was the best invention, ever, plus, I have a soft spot for waitresses with green eye shadow!

We're from California and have never been to the Steak and Shake. I had the patty melt, it was good but didn't have onions as the menu said. When our waitress came to give us our check I questioned her about this, she said I should of toll her. I would of if I would of seen her during our meal! My husband had the cheese burger, it was ok. The milk shakes look Devine, we did not have one. I will go back to give it a second chance.

I absolutely love this place. I had the triple burger and parmesan fries. Pam had the taco salad and peanut butter shake. The service was great and the place is old fifties but new! Enjoy!

Steak & Shake is an awesome place to grab a quick and cheap lunch. There is a menu where all meals are under $4! How can you beat that? I went with the Chicken Fingers & Fries- which were both good. I also took advantage of the 2 PM to 4 PM happy hour- when all drinks are half price- including their famous milkshakes! I ordered the Chocolate Brownie- YUMMMM The food and atmosphere was great- but the service left ALOT to be desired. My group of 4 was seated quickly. After about 5 minutes the waitress greeted us and took our milkshake order. 10 minutes later we put in our food order- no milk shakes in sight. Our food came pretty quickly- still no shakes. So I asked the waitress- who responded with an attitude. After finishing our food, I asked if the shakes could be put in to go cups, as we still had not received them- the waitress unwillingly accepted my request. We finally got our shakes- which were good, but not worth the wait and attitude.

Steak 'n Shake is a great place to grab some quick food with out the fast food feeling. The food here is great for the price you pay and the shakes are very filling. They have so many different varieties of shakes to choose from that you don't know what you want sometimes. Their selection of burgers are great too. The place is a bit old, but it gives it the old diner look. The customer service here is quick and fast. I would have said the service was very slow to grab your bill up until I realize that we have to go to the counter to pay. Idiot of me right. This place is a great place to socialize and do t want the upscale of a Johnny Rockets!

I've had the Cajun, Garlic Double, Jamaican Jerk Double, Three Pepper Double, Prince of Royale Single and Double, Side Salad*, Orange Freeze Milkshake, Mocha Milkshake, Eggnog Milkshake, White Chocolate Milkshake, Peppermint Mocha Milkshake and the Birthday Cake Milkshake and the Oreo Ice Cream thing (You've got to be a foodie if you really read all of that lol) And I just found out they have (drum roll please) A 7x7. Food was decent, wasn't the best steak n shake I've been too. It took forever to get out to us though. It was kinda busy but we went at 1 am and it took over 30 minutes to get to us. Staff was alright, didn't say much. The chocolate covered strawberry shake was on point though. Half priced shakes from 2-4 am/pm is always a good call.
